UX: A Learning and Innovation Hub in Education

Higher Education Case Study

The Pennsylvania Educator Diversity Consortium at Temple University needed to showcase course instructor-innovators from across the state on culturally-relevant sustaining education.

THE PA Educator Diversity Consortium BRAND CHALLENGE:

The CRSE (Culturally-Relevant Sustaining Education) Repository, part of the Pennsylvania Educator Diversity Consortium, sought to establish an online platform was envisioned to serve educators with culturally relevant resources.

How We Helped

CUSTOM DESIGN AND USER EXPERIENCE

A fresh, user-centered design was developed from scratch, focusing on interactive and engaging content.

Content Strategy and Managment

The website featured a comprehensive range of resources, including syllabi and reflections, powered by a custom WordPress CMS for ease of updating and managing content.  Categories were carefully selected so educators across the state could easily access resources to incorporate culturally-revelant education in their own classrooms.

Brand Alignment and Easy Navigation

We matched brand fonts, logo, and colors to align this one-of-a-kind resource with PEDC’s current website for a seamless brand experience.

Opportunity to Showcase Educators as Evolving

A critical component was to ensure that the story of how not only the course evolved, but educators themselves evolved as they put themselves in often-vulnerable position of teaching social justice.
